Howdy! I'm pleased to (formally) announce my current project Cosmogelica! You've probably seen it here and there in pictures and videos, but now there is a store page for it, so it's getting pretty real and official I think.

What Is Cosmogelica?

If you're just reading about the game for the first time, Cosmogelica is an arcade-like shoot-em-up where you fight endless hordes of enemies. However, unlike your typical shmup, you don't have to dodge bullets. Instead, you can create a barrier to block them, or spin to deflect them. This game has several play modes, and even 2 player co-op and competition! (Local only, sorry.)

Sounds Cool, Can I Play It?

Unfortunately, the game is not nearly done yet. However, I plan on releasing a demo sometime soon! This demo will give you a good idea as to what the game is about, as well as what to expect when it's done.  I'm currently looking for testers to prototype the game's upcoming demo, so if you're interested, please join my Discord Chat and check for more information in #cosgel-proto-info. I'm offering this prototype only on Discord because it is not ready for everyone to see, so I need to directly communicate with the people playing it.

What About Shield Cat?

Shield Cat is still on hiatus. I'm hoping that, by making a smaller game and putting it out there, I can make enough money to put into working on Shield Cat more. (Speaking of, I haven't decided on a final price for Cosmogelica yet, so if you see a price anywhere on itch, it may not reflect the final price.) I know that many people are excited for Shield Cat, and I hope that this game will give you something to do while you wait.
